Neem Leaves (Azadirachta indica / Nimba)

Neem (Azadirachta indica) has been known as the wonder tree for centuries in India. It is also rightly called as the ‘village pharmacy’! The Neem tree is generally considered to be an air purifier. In fact, today, even the US Academy of Sciences has given very high importance to the Neem tree and United Nations has gone one step ahead and declared Neem as the ‘tree of the 21st Century’! Neem has long been cherished as a symbol of health in India ever since the time of Brihat Samhita (the Brihat Samhita of Varahamihira is an encyclopedia of astrology and other subjects of human interest)! Every part of the Neem tree - flowers, fruits, seeds, leaves, bark, roots, etc, possess very useful properties either for medicinal, health care related or agricultural applications. The Neem leaves extract is extensively used as an old and popular remedy for variety of disorders. It is mainly used as a blood purifier, as it substantially increases the state of oxidation in red blood cells. Tinospora cordifolia Extract (Guduchi /Amrita /Gulvel /Gulancha)

Tinospora cardifolia extract, (commonly known in India as Gulvel, Guduchi, or Amritvel) has been used for its high medicinal value since ages. Ayurveda terms it as ‘Rasayana’(Rasayana is a branch of Ayurveda, meaning path of the juice). It is widely used as a general tonic and is useful for treating malaria, vomiting, anemia, piles, chronic fever, skin diseases as well as diabetes. Amrita is useful for carbohydrate and fat metabolism. Regular intake (it is safe for oral intake) enhances the immune system helping prevent neurological disorders such as numbness, tingling sensations and optical neuropathy. It is also known to possess anti-diabetic, anti-cancer, anti-bacterial, immunomodulator, anti-inflammatory and anti-stress properties. Known in Ayurveda as an ideal herb it is beneficial as an immunomodulant hypolipidaemic (protection against heart ailments) and hepatoprotective (protects the liver from being damaged by toxins). Cinnamon  (Dalchini /Cinnamomum zeylanicum/Tvak)

Dosage

Diabetes is a condition where the body has trouble regulating its sugar or glucose levels. When this happens the glucose keeps moving around in the blood stream, without reaching the cells.
